About Kikaijima
Kikaijima is a raised coral reef island located about an hour south of Kagoshima by air. Sufficient products are made from pesticide- and chemical-free crops grown on Kikaijima.
The topsoil of Kikaijima is covered with Ryukyu limestone derived from coral reefs and is rich in minerals and other nutrients, but because of its alkalinity, it was considered unsuitable for growing crops.
In addition, the Ryukyu limestone soil is too well drained, resulting in chronic water shortages on Kikaiji- ma. The solution to this problem was an underground dam.
By taking advantage of the special soil and environment, we are working to create something that can only be made on Kikaijima.
We deliver safe and secure products by doing everything in-house, from soil preparation necessary for farming, to plowing, planting, management, weeding, harvesting, and commercialization.
喜界島は、鹿児島から飛行機で南へ1時間ほど行ったところにある隆起珊瑚礁の島です。十分のプロダクトは、喜界島で育てられた無農薬・無化学肥料栽培の作物から作られています。
喜界島の表土は、珊瑚由来の琉球石灰岩で覆われ、ミネラル等栄養価が豊富な土壌ですが、アルカリ性のため、作物の栽培には不向きと考えられていました。
また、琉球石灰岩の土壌は、水はけが良過ぎるため、喜界島では慢性的な水不足に陥っていました。その問題を解決したのが、地下ダムです。
私たちは、その特殊な土壌と環境を活かすことで、喜界島でしか作れないものづくりに取り組んでいます。農業に必要な土づくりから、耕運、植付け、管理、草むしり、収穫、商品化まで全て自社で行うことで、安全で安心なプロダクトをお届けします。

Happy Sesame Oil
Happy sesame oil is refined from only the best of Kikai Island's original white sesame cultivated without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. We took time to verify the roasting, filtration, and precipitation so that the original aroma of the sesame seeds can be strongly felt.
Coral Sugar
Coral sugar is made from sugarcane grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers using a unique process that removes only the impurities that cause acridity and bitterness, while retaining the nutrients in the brown sugar. By removing the impurities, the original flavor and sweetness of brown sugar can be felt in this organic sugar.
